Your Home / You’re Home

Understanding the “big picture” is the first step to starting your building project. A well thought-out plan in the beginning reduces changes down the line, which can lead to delays and cost increases. During the consultation, we provide a property report, measure & draw as-built floor plans, guide you in generating a list of needs vs. wants, envision design possibilities and determine the feasibility of your budget.

In design, we take everything learned from the consultation and establish the style & character of your project. Drawings and 3d renderings are shown to you and our tradesmen for feedback and for developing construction costs. Our design plans, together with our engineer’s structural plans, form the construction documents ready to submit to the building department for review and permitting.

At the start of the build, a construction timeline will be generated showing the schedule of the trades. We lead a team of local sub-contractors who are fully licensed & insured, with 20+ years of building experience themselves. Our design team makes regular site visits to ensure everything is according to plan and on time. We pride ourselves on job site cleanliness and finish quality!

Stress Free Remodel so far! We are just over one month into our remodel project and so far so good. Dale and his team are very professional, thoughtful and sensitive to the wants and needs of their clients every step of the way. After our initial meeting we were directed to a “HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR DESIGN PROJECT” download. Very helpful! Dale and his team guided us through the entire design process and informed us that this phase should not be rushed and emphasized the importance of it for a successful project. This has proven to be very true and I am so glad to see the design on paper coming to life! Dale goes above and beyond and deeply cares for you as a person and puts his whole heart and soul into your remodel.

Archisys did a kitchen project of which we are still very proud. Dale and his team came up with a beautiful, functional design that was perfect for our space. They are great with details, follow up and all areas of design. We had a very collaborative relationship with them, and in my mind that is the one thing that made the project so successful. Dale and crew were very respectful of our time and our home. The crew was timely, had a good work ethic, and cleaned up every night. The workmanship was excellent. Overall, our experience with Archisys was very positive and we would definitely use them again for other projects.

Frank N.· Westchester, CA

Due to the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, our home required extensive repairs. Dale rescued us after a particularly bad experience with another contractor who had started the repair work. Dale immediately began to remedy the problems. Construction costs were within the planned budget, and he did a good job of maintaining the schedule. Seventeen years later our home is as beautiful as when it was rebuilt.

Our job as design builders is to realize your intentions and produce a great finished product from concept to construction. We minimize the risk and uncertainties implicit in having a separate designer and contractor. Our integrated team of designers and craftsmen allows us to generate a faster, more honest budget tailored to you.

How to Prepare For Your Design Project

Renovating a house can and should be really exciting. However too often we hear stories about clients not having their needs heard, leading to misunderstandings between the contractors, the client and the design professional on what was the agreed scope and the agreed budget. We have decided to do something about it.

It all comes down to a brief summary of your needs, desires, and options.

If the summary is not clear, misinformation to the design professional will follow on through to the contractor and all his associated tradesmen, compromising your project. They will struggle to understand what it is they need to allow for in the pricing of your project and the fulfillment of your needs.
